Our Review

Choosing a transaction account can be a little tricky because they can vary quite considerably in what they offer. The St.George Complete Freedom account has many features itself that can be tailored to suit you.

Before you choose an account, you should be aware of whether you do a lot of online shopping, some accounts only allow a limited number of online transactions, and then start charging for them.

The big advantage with the account is you get unlimited internet banking transactions as part of the monthly fee, making this account particularly suitable for those who do a lot of online shopping.

In fact if you value a good online banking experience, then this account is very suitable. St.George offers a very straightforward online banking experience that is easy to understand and very easy to use. The service even allows customers to set up SMS notifications which can help you stay on top of your finances. There are apps for the iPhone so you can manage your cash on the go.

The account allows you to consolidate all you’re banking into a single account, so you do not need to have a separate account for your income to be deposited and another which you use to pay bills and still another from which you issue cheques and link your credit card too. You can combine all these functions into a single transaction account because the account offers phone and internet banking facilities making life a whole lot easier.

If you need a debit card, the account comes with a Visa card that can be linked to your transaction account.

If you have your income deposited into your St.George Complete Freedom account, it is highly likely the bank will waive the monthly service fee so long as you meet the monthly minimum balance criteria. The fee is also waived for holders of a mortgage issued by St.George that use their transaction account to make their monthly payments

The St.George Complete Freedom account offers flexibility, peace of mind and management.
